HCDC Weekday Program

Ages: 6 months – 5 years
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Teachers provide a warm, loving Christian environment in which children play, explore, and begin to develop foundations that will last a lifetime.

Daily Schedule

Tiny Tots through PreK aged children participate in Music and Movement Class and Stretch ‘n Grow weekly. Our oldest class of Tiny Tots through PreK attend chapel each Tuesday and Thursday morning in the sanctuary.

All individual class schedules differ to meet the age appropriate needs of the children in the class. Classroom activities may include: group time, learning stations, snack and lunch time, quiet time, playground time, arts and crafts time, and free play.

Our Tiny Tot and older classrooms have two teachers in each room. Our infant room has two teachers and a helper.

Maximum Classroom Enrollments

  • Infant Class – 1 to 4 teacher: student ratio
  • Tiny Tot classes – 1 to 5 teacher: student ratio
  • Little Explorer, Little Learner and PreK classes – 1 to 7 teacher: student ratio

Weekly Activities

Chapel – Every Tuesday and Thursday morning in the Sanctuary

Music and Movement – an opportunity for children of all ages to experience different types of music and movement

Stretch ‘n Grow – an exercise program specifically designed for young children

Library Time – weekly storytime in our church library for our PreK classes

Program Information

In order for your child to become enrolled in the Hillcrest Child Development Center, you must complete the following information and submit a current copy of your child’s immunization records with the appropriate fees.

Security

Hillcrest CDC commits to making your child’s time at HCDC safe, secure and fun! It is important for us to meet in advance anyone who might pick up your child. Verification of identification will be mandatory at the time of pick-up to ensure your child’s safety. Always notify your child’s teacher and the HCDC director on a day when someone else is to pick up your child.

REMEMBER: It is YOUR responsibility to inform the HCDC director if there are any changes in security information.

2011-2012 Tuition Schedule

(Prices are subject to change each school year)

Registration Fee – $50.00 per child (Non-Refundable)

Monthly Tuition – $135.00 first child and $125.00 each additional child

One Day a Week – $90.00*

Drop-Ins – $18.00 per day (Dependent on availability)

*Only available to our Infant and Tiny Tot Classes) Tuition payments are due on the 1st of every month and must be paid by the 15th of the month to avoid late fees.

Waiting List

To add a child to the waiting list, we must have the following information:

  • Child’s Name (first and last)
  • Child’s Date of Birth
  • Parent’s Name (first and last)
  • Daytime Phone Number
  • Interested Start Date (example: Sept. 2012)

You may add your child to the waiting list by emailing the requested information to cburgess@hillcrestbc.com. Requested information MUST be complete to be added to the list.

How It Works

Whenever we have a withdrawal, we call in the order of our waiting list until we locate someone who is still interested in filling the available spot. It is not necessary for you to continually contact regarding available spots. We will contact you in the event there is a spot open in your child’s age classroom.
