Awana This dynamic program
helps children memorize Bible verses and learn about
missions in an exciting and fun way. We play exciting games
and have contests nearly every week. The program begins with
children who are 3 years old by September and goes through

Children's Ministry Our goal is to share Jesus with
children and preschoolers in an age appropriate manner that
impacts their entire life and will help them follow Him for
the rest of their lives. Our ministry includes several
facets including Mother's Day Out, AWANA, Kid's Night Out,
Sunday School, and summer programming which includes Summer
Camp (3-6 grades), Vacation Bible School, and Super Kids.
College Ministry The college ministry of Hillcrest
exists to glorify God by engaging students in the Word of
God and Worship. Hillcrest has a standing tradition of
excellence in college ministry including an annual retreat,
1382 every Thursday, and weekly worship. The college
ministry also hosts significant worship events with such
bands as Mercy Me, and the the David Crowder Band.
Discipleship Classes Hillcrest offers a variety of
Discipleship classes on a range of issues. Topics may
include parenting, family life, mission studies, even New
Testament Greek! Classes meet during the week, but mainly on
Sunday afternoon. Contact the church office for information
on any of the courses offered.
Evangelism Ministry If you have a passion to see
people come to faith in Christ, then you will find a home in
the evangelism ministry. We have short term evangelistic
outreaches, as well as on-going evangelism training,
visitation, and a variety of ministries that involve many
different types of ministry. We implement many strategies
including GROW, and FAITH.
Media Ministry The Hillcrest Media team provides
technical and operational support with state of the art
audio, video, and lighting equipment for the preaching,
teaching, music and drama ministries of our church. New
hands are always accepted!
Missions Ministry The missions ministry promotes the
four facets of missions: praying, learning, giving, and
going. We believe that missions is the heartbeat of God, and
is our part in accomplishing His purpose. The missions
ministry has many opportunities for for leadership,
education and service.
Child Development Center Our 6-month-olds through
pre-kindergarteners enjoy a holistic learning experience
every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am through 2:00pm. They
strive towards spiritual, physical, emotional, and

Music Ministry The music ministry has a place of
service for everyone! We offer exciting worship opportunites
in vocal and instrumental music, drama, and pageantry for
all ages. Music programs include age-graded choirs,
orchestra, praise teams, and adult worship choirs, plus
choir trips for missions and training.
Nursing Home Ministry The nursing home ministry
allows us to share God's Word to those in difficult
circumstances. This ministry allows those involved to show
kindness, love and fellowship, all while ministering and
teaching God's Word.
Prayer Prayer is at the heart of all we do at
Hillcrest .We have special seasons of prayer, yet the outlet
for prayer is the Wednesday night celebration of Prayer and
Praise. We meet each Wednesday at 6:30pm to spend time with
each other while seeking God for His leadership in our
fellowship and lives.
Recreation Ministry The recreation ministry is
designed for people who enjoy sports, recreation and
exercise. Activities include a softball league, basketball
league, volleyball league, and other activities. The
recreation ministry is a good place to meet and get to know
people while exercising, and having fun. It's a good place
to build relationships among your family and with other
friends.
Senior Adult Ministry The senior adult ministry of
Hillcrest continues to provide various areas for enrichment,
growth and fellowship. The ministry exists to empower
seniors to continue to grow and flourish, bearing fruit in
the prime of life. We want to serve them so they can serve
the Lord.
Singles Ministry The singles ministry at Hillcrests
exists to encourage single adults to serve God faithfully,
serve others habitually, and worship God passionately. The
focal point of the singles is the Sunday Morning Bible
studies. From our Bible study groups we organize for
fellowship and ministry in many ways.
Student Ministry The student ministry of Hillcrest
seeks to lead students into a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ as well as guiding them to grow in His
character. Likewise, we seek to move our students toward
honoring God, and serving other people. We accomplish these
goals through Wednesday evening service, as well as Sunday
Morning Bible Study. In addition, our goals are accomplished
by participation in special events, such as Disciple Now,
youth camps and mission projects.
Women's Ministry Hillcrest's dynamic Women's Ministry
revolves around the goal of integrating women into the
Scripture. We do this in a number of ways including in-home
Bible studies, missions studies, ministry outreach, and
outside women's events.
Bible Study Hillcrest's age graded and
intergenerational Bible Studies meet Sunday morning at
9:00am and 10:30. The purpose of the studies is to engage
the student in Scripture, while building relationships that
help us grow in grace.
