Connect

Connect is our worship service specifically designed for your school-aged child (Grades 1st- 6th). Kids meet together for a time of praise and worship, prayer, and an age appropriate message that they can apply to their lives. Connect meets every Sunday at 10:30 a.m (starts September 6th).

Worship Quest

Worship Quest is a unique children’s choir ministry for kids grades 1st – 6th. Kids learn different ways to worship and serve using their talents and gifts through drama, art, creative movement, instruments, and media. Worship Quest meets every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Play and Praise Preschool Choir

Play and Praise is for preschoolers ages 3 years (by September 1) through Kindergarten. Preschoolers will enjoy singing fun songs and playing instruments while praising God. Play and Praise meets every Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Kid Faith

This four week class is designed to teach and equip children who have made a decision to follow Christ. We will study God’s word and help kids understand what it means to be a Christian, church membership, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and how to grow in Christ. Kid Faith will meet once a quarter on Sunday’s at 10:30 a.m.

AWANA

AWANA is an international, non-denominational, Bible-centered program which offers each child Biblical instruction, wholesome activities, and Christian friendship and fellowship. During AWANA, your child will learn scripture, play games, and study about missionaries, both home and abroad. AWANA is for children ages 3 years (by September 1) to 6th grade. Hillcrest Child Development Center

HCDC is a weekday education program for preschoolers. We would like the opportunity to partner with you in your child’s development. We want to equip your child for tomorrow, by sharing God’s love, building communications skills and providing enriching activities. HCDC meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We accept children ages 6 months to 5 years. For more information, please contact Mylia Roan, Director at 214.918.0159

The Kingdom Defenders

The Kingdom Defenders (TKD) is a physical fitness program for the whole family. TKD is Hillcrest’s form of Tai Kwan Do. Classes are taught all throughout the community and are offered to home-school students at the SALT co-op. as a PE credit. TKD is for kids ages 4 to 99, so learn to protect yourself, have fun, and get physically fit as a family! For fees and more information, please contact Milton or Lisa Noey at 972.293.2424

Parent/Child Dedication

Parent/Child Dedication is a time when parents publicly express their commitment to raise their child in a home that honors Christ. At Hillcrest, we desire a true partnership with families as they raise their children to love the Lord. We believe that Parent/Child Dedication is just the beginning! We will be having our next Parent/ Child Dedication service on Sunday, September 20 in both morning services.
