As you may know, we have formed a Hillcrest Response Team to help people in our community. Many requests for assistance are beginning to roll in, so pastor Mike suggested that I bring these needs to the church. We have contacted our product supplier for various items, but there is an order limit, and some items are back ordered. Please read the following list of needs and respond as you can.
1. If you would like to be on our “call me to help” list. please send me an email or text. Include your name, contact information, and how you can help. Errands (picking up groceries or health items), Tasks (projects, including mowing or repairs), and/or Communications (calls or notes to encourage others and discern their needs).
2. If you have EXTRA items you could donate to the church, we will receive them through the office from 8:30-5:00 Monday -Friday. (Just ring the bell; someone will come.) Here are the items we need: hand sanitizer, masks, wipes, toilet paper, and paper towels. Individual unpackaged items (such as paper towels or toilet paper) should be placed in a plastic bag.
3. Please consider bringing a donation to our Benevolence Fund. This will enable us purchase needed items (including groceries, etc. as needed) for others.
For information on how you can be a part of the team or if you have a need of your own, contact Donnie Page at [email protected] or (214) 803–0064.
