Dear Church,

We are filling up the worship center regularly each Sunday with people attending in person. This is marvelous but it is maximizing our seating capacity for the virus protocols. Therefore, in order to allow more people to attend worship service in person, we will be adding an additional service on Sundays.

The additional service will start at 8:45 AM on Sunday, August 9 in the Worship Center. The two English services will be identical and one hour in length. The Hispanic service will continue to meet Sundays at 12:00 PM in the Worship Center. All services will be broadcast live online. The Gym will be open for those who wish to do the live service there.

Should you not feel comfortable attending in person then please stay home and view the service online. If you are in a high-risk health category then please stay healthy by staying home. Wearing a mask and sanitizing hands is the expectation for those coming on campus. Please do not come if you have a fever or are feeling sick in any way.

Sunday School classes now meeting online on Sunday mornings are welcome to adjust their meeting time and day to accommodate the new worship service. The teacher and leadership of each adult class need to make the decision that best suits their class ministry. Please inform the education and discipleship office if you make any such changes.

Care for preschoolers during the English worship services will be offered in the preschool wing beginning Sunday, August 16. This care is for those entering Kindergarten and younger. Prior registration is required each week for the upcoming Sunday. There are strict protocols to follow so please check out our children’s webpage.

Remember the EQUIP Conference taking place this Saturday, August 8. A virtual conference with over 250 sessions is sponsored by the SBTC. It is at no cost to you if you sign-up through the church at EQUIP Registration.

Please communicate the new worship schedule to those you lead. Thank you for remaining flexible during these days as we adjust schedules and ministries. The church staff do covet your prayers. Thank you for your faithfulness to God’s Kingdom work.
