with Hillcrest Kids
At Hillcrest, we have classes designed with your child in mind! All preschoolers and children are assigned to a class with other children in their same age or stage of life. Teaching God's truth to your kids each week is part of our discipleship plan for children of all ages.
Our preschoolers meet during the 9:00 AM service and the 10:30 AM service. Our preschoolers use Bible Studies for Life. Every year our preschoolers explore both the New and the Old Testaments. They learn that Jesus loves them and that God’s Word is special. They also discover biblical truths through music, hands on activities, fun crafts, Bible stories, games that get them moving, and so much more.
During the 9:00 AM hour the first through third graders learn with the Bible Studies for Life: Kids.
Connects God’s Word to kids’ lives in an intentional way. This three-year study plan addresses key life issues based on the Levels of Biblical Learning, a useful guide showing what age kids should be introduced to 10 spiritual concept areas.
We use creative teaching elements including music, review games, Activity pages, teaching pictures, hands-on activities, videos, and family resources to teach foundational Bible stories.
Showing Kids the Big Picture of God’s Story
The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses preteens in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, preteens will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.

Every child is made in the image of God, and we want every child and family to feel welcome at Hillcrest. Our goal is for children with special need, who feel comfortable doing so, to learn and grow in a class with their peers. We provide each child who needs special help with a buddy to minister to their needs. We also provide a room for children who need a less stimulating environment.
