March 3 – 5

Have you ever been in a place that’s truly dark? A place with absolutely zero sources of light? If we are honest, it’s scary and unsettling to experience a darkness that is disorienting and lonely. There is another kind of darkness that surrounds us. It’s not simply the absence of light. It’s the darkness of a world without good. A world without God.

Although there is darkness… there is a light that is overwhelming, all-consuming, and perfectly pure . . . a light that refuses to be ignored. It’s the light of God’s goodness. A light that drives away darkness, runs off despair, and drives out fear. A light that is comforting, clarifying, and shines for justice… A light that saves.
D-Now: The Darkness and Light is a retreat for students ranging from 7th-12th grade. We will have an amazing weekend where students will gather with their friends for worship, discipleship and fellowship. Students will be spiritually challenged and encouraged as they explore the bible in small group sessions and learn how to influence their world for Christ. Through each session, students will be empowered to discover how God’s light shines around them, in them, and through them.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” – John 1:5
