Good morning! I’m glad to welcome you to worship today at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In Matthew 24 we come to what is known as the Olivet Discourse. As Jesus and His disciples left the temple and came to the top of the Mount of Olives, the disciples had questions for Jesus about things Jesus had just said about their house being left desolate. His response to their questions about the temple led the disciples to ask more questions (v. 3), specifically ones that had to do with Jesus’ return and “the end of the age.”

We find here that Jesus gave prophetic statements about His return and the coming time of tribulation. Today we are going to see “THE BEGINNING OF THE END” in Matthew 24:1-14.
