As a church family we have been praying about “WHO’S YOUR ONE,” who is that individual for which God has given you a burden and passion about their relationship with Christ?  In Romans 9:1-5 we discover that the Apostle Paul was not just passionate and burdened, but his heart was broken over the lostness of the Jews.  Paul’s heart was broken over the state of those that did not know Christ as their Lord and Savior.  He knew that for one to die in their sin, without the forgiveness of God the Father, that they would eternally perish in hell.  That truth alone, brought a grief to Paul that was almost impossible to bear.

Most of us, and I include myself in the “us,” have never been moved to a passion and brokenness as Paul had for the lostness of the Jews.  It is difficult to fathom stating with Paul, that I would be willing to be eternally cursed if it would bring salvation to others.

We may not have the depth of brokenness that Paul had, but the question we all need to ask is, do we even have a heart that cares?
