I was born in Atlanta, GA on February 27, 1990, but I spent the majority of my life living in Nashville, TN, where I grew up as a pastor’s kid. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior when I was a teenager, and it was during my teenage years that the Lord called me into the ministry. I received by BA in Pastoral Theology in 2012 from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, FL and my Masters of Divinity in 2015 from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN. In college, I served as a part-time youth minister at Good Samaritan Church for a year. During my time in Memphis, I served for three years at Bellevue Baptist Church as the intern in their Young Adult Singles department. In the fall of 2015, God called me to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area to pursue my PhD in New Testament at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. It was during this time that God led me to become the College Minister at Hillcrest.

I absolutely love the opportunity that God has given me to pour into the lives of our college students. I hope that each student that enters our ministry would grow in their love for God through biblical truth. I also hope that each student would be fully equipped to fulfill the Great Commission and make disciples of Christ. If you are interested in our ministry or the ministry of Hillcrest Baptist Church, I would love to meet you and take you out to lunch or coffee. My primary hope is that you would grow into the person that God, through the work of Jesus Christ, has made you to be!
