Benny Mayo, is retiring on Sunday, September 30 after 53 years in the ministry. He has been the Senior Adult Minister here at Hillcrest for the past four years. We will be honoring Benny and his wife, Saundra, with a reception in the MPR, on Sunday, September 30, following the evening service. Please take the time to let Benny and Saundra know how much they are appreciated.

Below is a note from Benny:

I thank the Lord for the wonderful opportunity Saundra and I have had in working and ministering to some great senior adults these five years. You have been very supporting and encouraging for the work of Christ. I appreciate the encouragement and support of our Pastor, Mike Simmons, and the entire staff. It has been a joy to work with you. This makes my fifty-third year of ministry for the Lord. I have been praying about this decision for a long time and know this is the time and I am claiming the following promises from scripture: Phillippians 4:4, 4:6, 4:12-13 and 4:19. God bless you as you continue to do the work of the Lord. Pray for us as we take this journey of faith.
