If you’ve been at the church in the last week you have noticed that there are several construction projects that are underway at Hillcrest. This column will keep you up-to-date on the work that is going on.

Re-Roofing Project

The hail storms this summer caused significant damage to the roof of the church, as well as the roof of our two mission houses. Work began last week on repairs to the roof, as well as some of the stucco finish of the church as well. We are replacing the shingle roof on the church with a standing seam roof, similar to the roofs on the Student Building and Building J. It will be a dark bronze color, not much different from the color of our shingle roof.

Building K

We broke ground this week on Building K, the second building in our Edcational Complex on the west side of campus. Dirt work to prepare the site for construction is in progress.

AT&T Antenna Installation

The new steeple that will house the AT&T antenna is on it’s way to the church. It should be installed next week.
