Last week we begin a sermon series called THE 9: Bearing Fruit at Home from Galatians 5:22-23, a study of the “Fruits of the Spirit,” and how to allow the Holy Spirit to daily produce the nine virtues of the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.
We all have relationship goals. Social media has an abundance of postings “#relationshipgoal” of people telling others the best way to enhance relationships, or simply a picture or comment about their own relationships.
The truth of the matter is, you will never find or have complete fulfillment in any relationship apart from a growing relationship with Christ through the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. As we have learned last week, from Galatians 5:22-23, the Holy Spirit is the One that produces fruit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) in and through us, that is not only a blessing to us personally, but also to all of our relationships in life.
As we study the virtue of JOY this morning, I want you to ask yourself, “Do I spread JOY wherever I go?”
