But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (NKJV)
MISSIONS BY THE BOOK
16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. (NKJV)
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (NKJV)
9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, (NKJV)
Our aim is to personalize missions by helping each believer to discover their role and fulfill their purpose in God’s global cause – gathering worshippers to Himself. In obedience to Jesus’ command and to facilitate personalization, our church is organized as a world mission strategy center using the Acts 1:8 guideline with teams that seek to reach people with the gospel in our Jerusalem (community), Judea/Samaria (Texas and nation), and Ends of the Earth (international).
We set six goals in our mission efforts:
- Provide ministries to reach people with the gospel where they are
- Provide focused, specific, and timely prayer support
- Provide strategic financial support
- Provide volunteer mission teams as needed
- Provide opportunities for personal witness
- Provide counseling for those interested in missions
